Want to create your award design from scratch instead of using one of our templates? Our online design tool makes it easy to create your own layout!
You can add your own logo or images, enter your engraving text, choose fonts, adjust sizing, and arrange the different elements on your award.
Please keep in mind: The online designer is intended to give our design and production teams a general idea of how you would like your finished award to look. Your submitted design will be reviewed by our team and used as a guide when preparing your order. The final engraving may vary slightly depending on the size, shape, and engraving area of the specific award.
Not sure how to get started? Follow the steps below!
1. Select Your Item
Start by choosing the award you'd like to order.
Once you've selected your award, choose the available size, color, quantity, and other options as applicable.
2. Select "Personalize"
When you're ready to customize your award, select "Yes (Free)" for personalized engraving, then click "Personalize."
When the personalization window opens, select "Design Online" and then choose "Design My Own."
This will open a blank version of your award where you can begin creating your custom layout.
3. Add Your Logo or Images
If you'd like to include your own logo, photo, or image, select "Upload" from the menu on the left-hand side.
You can either drag and drop your file into the upload area or select the option to upload a file directly from your device.
Once your image has been uploaded, you can:
- Resize the image
- Move it around the award
- Adjust its position
- Arrange it with your other design elements
Important: If your logo contains color, the color cannot be reproduced through standard engraving. On an engraved item, your logo will appear as a frosty white engraving rather than in its original colors.
If you would like your logo to appear in full color, you'll need to select an award that specifically offers a color printing option.
4. Add Your Text
To add engraving text, select "Text" from the menu on the left-hand side.
Type the text you'd like to include into the large white text box, then click the orange "Add Text" button. Your text will appear on the award.
Once your text has been added, you can customize it by adjusting options such as:
- Font
- Font size
- Alignment
- Bold or italic formatting
- Position on the award
You can add as many separate text sections as needed.
Tip: We recommend adding each line or section of text separately. This allows you to move, resize, and format each section independently.
For example, instead of entering everything into one text box, you may want to create separate text sections for:
CHAMPION
Brynley Smith
2026
Girls Soccer
This gives you more control over the placement and appearance of each part of your engraving.
5. Add Additional Design Elements
Want to add a little something extra to your design?
Select "Images" from the left-hand menu to browse our available stock images and design elements.
You can add these images to your award and adjust their size and position just like you would with an uploaded logo.
You can also continue moving and adjusting your text, logos, and images until you have the overall layout you'd like.
6. Review Your Design
Before adding your award to your cart, take a moment to carefully review your design.
Double-check that all of your:
- Names
- Dates
- Titles
- Team or organization names
- Logos
- Numbers
- Other personalized information
are spelled and entered correctly.
You can continue adjusting your design until you're happy with the overall layout.
Don't worry if it's not perfect! The online designer is primarily intended to show our team your preferred layout and placement. If you're unsure about sizing, spacing, or how something will ultimately engrave, simply get your design as close as possible and our team can review it.
7. Add Your Award to Your Cart
Once you're finished designing, click "Add to Cart" to add your personalized award to your order.
Your submitted design will be available to our team as a reference when preparing your order.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Our online designer gives you a great way to communicate your vision, but there are a few things to remember:
- Engraving will appear differently than a digital image. Standard engraving is typically a frosty white or etched appearance rather than full-color printing.
- The available engraving area varies by product. Our team may need to make minor adjustments to sizing or placement so your design fits properly.
- Small details may not engrave clearly. Extremely fine lines, tiny text, or intricate artwork may need to be simplified or adjusted.
- Your online design is a layout guide. It shows us how you'd like your award arranged, but the final production layout may require minor adjustments.
- Check your spelling carefully. Please make sure all names, dates, titles, and other information are correct before submitting your order.
